A-level results are released on Thursday 17 August 2017

If you have an offer to study at Imperial please find information below about what will happen when you receive your results.

What happens next accordion

Applicants who have met their offer conditions

If you have met all the conditions of your offer, congratulations on gaining a place at Imperial! We look forward to welcoming you to the College in October 2017.

For students studying A-levels, confirmation of your status will appear on the UCAS Track website on A-level results day (Thursday 17 August 2017).

There is no need for you to contact the College directly to confirm your place as we will be in touch with you.

After you have been accepted, UCAS will send you a confirmation letter (AS12 Confirmation letter) in the post. This letter officially confirms that you have gained a place at the College. It will also explain if there is anything you need to do now; please carefully follow any instructions it contains.

We recommend exploring the rest of this site to find out more about what you can do before classes start and start planning your Welcome Week activities!

Online registration at the College opens on 4 September. We encourage all new students to register online before the start of term so that they arrive ready to get stuck into student life. Find out more about how to do this

Applicants who have just missed their offer conditions

If you have missed the conditions of your offer, you will need to check the UCAS Track website to see if you have been accepted by the College.

If your status is marked as 'unsuccessful' then Imperial is unfortunately unable to offer you a place. Please note all decisions recorded on UCAS are final and are a result of careful consideration by the Admissions Tutor for your programme. Any mitigating circumstances that you may have alerted us to will have been taken into account and will have informed our final decision.

If Imperial was your firm choice, you should check to see if you have met the offer conditions of your Insurance choice. If you have met all the requirements, then you are guaranteed a place with that institution.

If your place at your Insurance choice has been confirmed, UCAs will send you a confirmation letter (AS12 Confirmation letter) in the post. Continue checking the UCAS Track website for what to do next.

Clearing, Adjustment and Extra

Imperial will not be taking part in Clearing, Extra or Adjustment for 2017 entry.

For more information about places at other universities please see UCAS's guides to Clearing and Adjustment.
