Consultation on Interim Examination Timetabling Policy

Staff are invited to take part in a consultation on the Interim Examination Timetabling Policy. Any feedback received before Friday 22 December will be considered prior to the planned adoption of the interim policy at the end of January 2018.

The policy has been developed with wide input from students, academics and examination timetabling experts in the College. It covers traditional invigilated examinations taking place from 1 October 2018 onwards.

This interim policy is being formalised now to align with the earliest point at which departments commence work on their examination timetables for summer 2019. Over the coming months a full examination timetabling policy will be developed, that will additionally address online and practice-based examination modes such as clinical skills simulations for medicine, as well as other relevant topics that arise through consultation. The full policy will be developed drawing on the expertise of staff and students, and all staff will be given the opportunity to offer feedback prior to adoption.

Please send any feedback to oeconsultation@imperial.ac.uk
